Join us for these four exciting and fun, nature-based programs designed just for homeschoolers!
Schedule: 2nd Tuesday of the Month, January through May
Registration: 2:45-3:00pm Classes: 3:00-4:30pm
Ages: All homeschool ages welcome. Classes will be divided by age into a group of students ages 7 and under and a group of ages 8 and up.
Fee: $6.50 per month per child
Please note: Fee applies to each walking or older child who accompanies a class.

Follow the process of making maple syrup from tapping a tree to using an evaporator. Use a hydrometer to measure the sugar content and explore historic artifacts from early Native Americans and pioneers. |

Hike and search to find out how plants protect themselves from climate condition and how they avoid being eaten by animals. Participate in an activity to explore how the structure of different bird beaks affects what they eat. |

Examine the life that abounds in the various aquatic habitats found at the nature center. Use nets to dip and explore our ponds. Older students will explore water quality by conducting a variety of tests. |
