River Bend Nature Center's next seasonal photography contest has begun.
Amateurs are welcome to send in photographs with this season's theme
"Sensational Spring " to compete for prizes (subject to judges' discretion):

  • Amateur photographers only (those that are not paid for taking photographs)
  • One entry form (download) must accompany each submitted photograph
  • Limit 4 photos per person
  • Theme for photos is “Sensational Spring ”
  • Photos may be color or black and white, but must be taken at River Bend Nature Center
  • Entries must be 8x10 in size and without frames -
  • RBNC requires a digital format of all 1st place photos at the end of the contest. You may send it by email (risberg@rbnc.org) or drop off a digital cd at River Bend.
  • Contest deadline is May 10, 2008
  • Entrants must be willing to allow River Bend authorization to use the photos in future publications as long as credit is given to the photographer
  • First place entries in each division will be enlarged by River Bend and displayed in the building for a season
  • First place entries will receive a small cash award
    • Division I - $35 award for first place (adults who have won 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in previous River Bend contests).
    • Division II - $35 award for first place (all other adults)
    • Division III - $35 award for first place (youth age 18 and under)
  • 2nd, 3rd, and Honorable mentions will not receive any cash prize but will be displayed

please stop by and pick them up!
